KidZone Ministry at CrossRoads
At CrossRoads, our children (infants through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in creative and relevant ways in our KidZone classrooms.
CrossRoads' nursery is available for all of worship, and the preschool students can attend their KidZone class for all of worship as well. Elementary students are invited to spend the first part of worship with their families, after which they will be released directly to their teacher.
Your First Visit
When visiting KidZone for the first time:
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information listed in the photo below. Please note: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone.
If you are visiting us online, your children can experience our teaching lessons online at our CrossRoads Facebook page HERE.
On our Facebook page you will find age-appropriate lessons for preschoolers, elementary students, and preteens. New lessons are posted each week.
We Value the SAFETY of Your Children
BEFORE WORSHIP You can check in your child at the station toward the back of the main gathering area. After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
AFTER WORSHIP After worship is complete, you will return to your child's classroom. You will need to show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
DURING WORSHIP In the event that we need to contact you during service, we will call or text the guardian's number that checked them in, which is listed on your child's name tag. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately, go to your student's KidZone classroom, and look for a staff member.
SECURITY Our KidZone area is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!
YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE IT Whether your kids attend online or in person, they'll experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at KidZone is to raise up students who understand who Jesus is and how that changes their lives.
And, they'll have a ton of fun!
