“Keep Local Kids Warm This Winter”

Kids Coats has has partnered with schools and churches in Hamilton County for the past 20 years providing over 3500 free winter coats each fall to families that need them. 


Kids Coats provides gently-used coats AT NO COST to families in Hamilton County.  


NEED A COAT?

Registration opens up every fall through your local Westfield School Counselor to sign up to get a coat.

Pick-Up Your Coats

Parents register for coats for their kids through their local school counselor


Coats are then given away in their school township, usually at a local church. 


In Westfield, Kids Coats was coordinated by CrossRoads Church at Westfield. 


Only those who live in the Westfield School district will receive coats at CrossRoads Church at Westfield. 


Coats were given to families on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at CrossRoads Church at Westfield, 19201 Grassy Branch Road, Westfield, IN 46074.  


Families were given an appointment time to shop for coats once you register.  Appointments were between 9 am and 1 pm on November 8, 2025, Saturday.


DONATE COATS • INFANT - 5XL

We obtain our coats each year from generous people like you who donate new or gently used coats [infant through 5XL] and from those who made a cash donation. 


Find Kids Coats boxes at schools and businesses in Westfield in  September and October to allow local residents to donate to their local Westfield neighbors. 


There is also a KIDS COATS bin located next the CrossRoads Church at Westfield barn in Septbember and October. You can identify it by the Kids Coats signs.


All coats donated IN Westfield will be given TO Westfield students. 

     



MAKE A DONATION

Kids Coats is run by volunteers, so 100% of donations go to support children in Hamilton County. Both Kids Coats Hamilton County and CrossRoads Church at Westfield are 501c3 not-for-profit organizations. 


Financial donations can be made to HAMILTON COUNTY KIDS COATS.
